The following are samples of the alert and report emails generated by the server uptime monitoring and alert service.

Example Email Alert

The alert starts with the date and time that the failure was first detected. Then the site is named. The next section contains the http status code and the number of bytes returned. The diagnostics section has a [+] or [-] beside each stage of the test. A [+] sign indicates that the particular step was successful.
Example Email Uptime and Performance Report
Emails are formatted as plain text, 76 characters wide, no html or attachments. Subscribers receive one combined email per day containing all reports for all sites. Each site section contains 7 calendar days of data, rolling forward on each day.

The columns are: date in GMT, percentage uptime, and then elapsed time in seconds from the start of the test to:
a) resolve dns
b) connect to server
c) send request
d) receive first byte
e) receive last byte
each is the average for the observed values in the 24 hour period.
The columns are further summarised as the minimum, maximum, and average values for the column data during the period covered by the report.
Example Trouble Ticket
The details of every failed test can be reviewed by examining the associated trouble ticket. Each trouble ticket includes space for free form notes that can be saved for future reference. Trouble tickets are accessed from the trouble tickets summary.

Email Blacklist Monitor Details
Email blacklist monitoring alerts only show the fact that the monitor found the target in a dnsbl or rdnsbl blacklist. The details are recorded in the notes section of the failure log. This permits the inclusion of much more detail than it would be possible to transmit in an alert message. The sample below is drawn from a real scan of a ip address netblock. Some of the details have been changed to protect the privacy of the network address owners.
The details only show the blackists where the addresses were blacklisted. Due to space restrictions, Details where a blacklist does not list the address are not shown.
